ECHELON
The debut album of Echelon, the secret power of Greek metal!
ECHELON was created in 2003 and in June 2004 they released their first demo ""War of Worlds"" in order to experience the whole procedure of recording (recorded live in the studio) and the whole process in general. They continued to run the group and in the summer of 2006 they decided to dissolve the group due to many professional obligations that did not leave them the time they wanted to dedicate to it. All this time they were inactive, there were some thoughts regarding a reunion, but due to professional and family commitments they did not succeed.
On April 12 of 2015, a tragic event happened which stigmatized them and will stigmatize their lives forever. Lefteris, their bassist, passed away at the age of 31. In 2018, three years after his loss, three of the founding members decided to activate Echelon again with a sole purpose to honor the memory of Lefteris.
The beginning was made with the release of their first EP ""LIBEWAR"". The very positive reviews of the EP and the whole general atmosphere led them to continue and become a full line-up group.
After some successful live appearances and refreshed line-up, the band worked hard on new material and practicing. On December 15, 2021 they signed their first contract with Sleaszy Rider for their first album ""Secret Power"" which is expected to be released on May 6th 2022, containing 9 of the band's songs. The band is currently practicing for upcoming live events in the summer and is looking forward to celebrate the important milestone of the group's first album.
