AMMO, an artist who has been splitting her time between LA and NYC, has delivered the most darkly lush dream pop on her new single 'A Cold War City'. It unfolds like a Lynchian lullaby, as does the new video, featuring cinematography by Jenny Baumert, which just premiered via Sonic Seducer Magazine.
AMMO says that this film "represents the relationship I have with my own experiences and the frustrations of recollection. I wanted to convey the feeling of being trapped in pursuit of clarity among a murky and unclear tangle of memories - what it’s like to drown in one’s own emotional chaos tied to the past."
