The second track released by AUSTRALASIA in 2021 continues the series of singles focused on the theme of “Perdere e Ritrovare” (losing and rediscovering).
It is an instrumental cover of The Smiths classic "Please, please, please,let me get whay i want”. Johnny Marr is one of Gian Spalluto's favorite musicians and with this track, he pays his homage to one of the guitarists who most influenced his musical tastes.
This cover is also a way of recalling lost childhood memories, through notes that awaken a melancholy nostalgia for the past.
The artwork, created by graphic designer Flavia Nisi, combines classic elements of AUSTRALASIA covers (animals and old nature prints) with the style and colors of classic The Smiths artworks.
