BIOGRAPHY 2020

It comes from an artistic idea of Flavio Gemma and Giancarlo Sansone in spring 2010, bringing together the various musical experiences/artistic of the two founders.

Their first musical work is "The Town" inspired by the book of the Canadian writer Kenneth J. Harvey, published in Italy by Einaudi with the title "The city that forgot to breathe" Mr. Harvey, once felt the musical work with strong connotations dark/ambient/kraut/kinematics, gets the music for his short meta horror film "It's a girl" (later awarded at the Toronto International Festival 2013) And 'the beginning of a collaboration that will see Delavega as composer of "The Town 2" and "The Town 3" (2012), and that Harvey will use for another two short "The Box" and "It was a sunny day..."

From the travel experiences around the world of Giancarlo and the Buddhist Flavio’s faith they gave birth to "A frame of a drop" (2013) where the music goes on the journey of dialogue between the two and the visible/invisible world, with strong epic and electroambient tones.

Since February 2017, Gabriele Robotti collaborates with DeLaVega as co-author for the realization of jingles and commercials related to the web. Ferrari, Magneti Marelli, Gp confidential and other brands choose Delavega’s jingle for owns videos.

On march 2020 was out the third part of Jingles: Spotlife vol. III

On october 19th the next release with a work created from Giancarlo Sansone: Lucid Dream Echoes. The concept album is a journey of a soul to different places in the minds and lives of people never met before. From one escape to another Delavega absorbs the atmospheres of the journey, bringing the sound away. The images escape the sound which is the only element that remains witness to the stages of the journey.
