BIOGRAFIA 2004

Amnesty se formó en el 2002 por los 4 miembros restantes de otra banda llamada Koldun, Nacho Rodríguez, Noé Walle, Victor Yzcoa y Pedro Pachur. Después de varias tocadas vieron la necesidad de tener otro guitarrista, así que invitaron a Gerardo Eguía.

En el año 2003, Pedro decide salir de la banda debido a algunas diferencias musicales con el grupo. Después de la salida de Pedro, los integrantes deciden invitar a Sergio Ruiz, quien había estado tocando en Koldun por un tiempo. En abril del 2003, Gerardo sale de Amnesty para dedicarse totalmente a su otra banda. De inmediato se invitó a Roberto Ruiz, quien no duró más de dos meses en la alineación. Fue cuestión de días cuando entra Priscila Serrano como guitarrista, agregando un nuevo toque al grupo.

Amnesty ha compartido escenario con diferentes grupos importantes y/o sobresalientes en el ámbito del metal, tales como Cannibal Corpse, Anarchus, Disgorge (Mex.) y DEA. En Octubre del 2004, la banda saca su primer Demo titulado “When the Mirror has been Broken…” Este se grabó en “Digital Sound Factory Studio”.

BIOGRAPHY 2004

Amnesty was formed in 2002 by four members of other band’s remnants (Koldun), Nacho Rodriguez, Noe Walle, Victor Yzcoa and Pedro Pachur. After many gigs and shows they saw the need of having other guitar player, so they invited Gerardo Eguía.

In the year 2003, Pedro decides to step out due to some musical differences with the band. This leads them to ask Sergio Ruiz in, who had been playing in Koldun for a while before. In April 2004, Gerardo quits Amnesty in order to dedicate more time to his other band. Roberto joins them right away, but he did not last more than two months. As a matter of days, on June the 27th, Priscila Serrano is officially in the band as a guitarist, adding a new female touch to the band.

Amnesty has shared the stage with different important bands such as Cannibal Corpse, Anarchus, DEA, and Disgorge (Mex). In October 2004, the band releases its first Demo CD named “When the Mirror has been Broken…” which was recorded in the Digital Sound Factory Studio.
