ESPAÑOL : BOANERGES es una banda cristiana de Power Metal formada en Argentina a fines del año 1990. Parte de nuestras influencias musicales son de bandas como Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Helloween, Angra, Stratovarious, and Stryper, entre otras. Nuestro nombre, BOANERGES, significa "Hijos del Trueno" en idioma arameo, y está extraido del pasaje bíblico Libro de Marcos Cap. 3, Vs. 17.

ENGLISH : BOANERGES is an argentinian christian Power Metal band, founded at the end of 1990. Part of our musical influences stem from bands like Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Helloween, Angra, Stratovarious, and Stryper, among others. Our name, BOANERGES, means 'Sons of thunder' in the Arameic language, extracted from the biblical passage in the book of Mark, chap. 3, vers 17.
