BIOGRAPHY 2002

bass, ultra-guttural vocals, grinding grooves,
blistering blast riffs, wailing solos, and a bassist who's crouching
position gets so low that his head seems to bang off of the floor ."

"Mortality has the drums, the guitars, the vocals, the sound. Like a
machine... This machine is rolling and can crush everything in it's
path. "

These words are what have been used to describe the music and
live show of Mortality. What you will find enclosed is a
three song Demo which is a good representation of the band. It was recorded
at the bands recording studio over a 24-hour period. Mortality
was formed in 1994 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and has since relocated to
San Antonio, Texas. While in
Colorado, they quickly gained the attention of Mosh Pit Records who released
Mortality's Demo "Death Grooves" . This Demo
brought a whole new sound to the Death Metal scene by combining overwhelming
grooves, brutal drumming, catchy rhythmns and
extreme vocal stylings. Their musical style coupled with their
skull-crushing live show has gotten them a huge and ever growing
fan base.

Mortality has had the opportunity to play with bands such as
Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Deicide, Malevolent Creation, FIght,
Cryptopsy and several other National Acts. Which has helped them become
comfortable onstage and given them the experience
and confidence to consistently perform their mind blowing set in front of
any audience, regardless of size. Mortality currently tours
regionally and nationally. They also perform at metalfests around the
states.

Mortality has received positive reviews in magazines such as
Pit Magazine, Sounds of Death, Metal Maniacs, The Harder Beat andseveral
other 'zines worldwide. They are also active on the internet maintaining
their own website and promoting themselves throughnewsletters and e-zines.
