BIOGRAPHY 2002

Combining unearthly vocals with god slaying guitars and crushing drums,
Encabulos is a nuclear inferno of death. Playing dark, brutal death in the
vein of Incantation and Deicide, the band is currently at work promoting
their sound through the very heart of the extreme metal scene - the
underground. The music is complimented with lyrics focusing on topics such
as the afterlife, armageddon and suicide.

Encabulos rumble out of Geelong with all the down-tuned technical brutality
of the modern grindcore death metal band. The band formed in 1995 with Rob
Benzies on vocals, though he was replaced by Kelly in 1997 in time for their
first demo. Embracing a particularly violent style in the mould of
Suffocation and Deeds of Flesh, Encabulos came to the attention of US grind
label Razorback, who included them on a compilation album, and new Sydney
label Venomous thanks their thunderous second demo. A debut EP was released
on Venomous and the band toured with Psychrist and Deluge in 2000.

ENCABULOS is going to release a split Ep with HOUR OF PENANCE on WARLORD
Records. This piece of vynil will be limited to 500 copies.
A 10" picture disc was also announced on the same label.

The previous vocalist has just left the band, and ENCABULOS has found a new
one who's into the scene since the early 80's.
